Ensemble Escargot

Ensemble Escargot is a recorder consort of some 12 players.

We have been enjoying recorder music since 1978, with the motto of "Easy, slowly" as you can see from our group name.

Rehearsals are held once a month at Kawaguchi, a suburb city of Tokyo, Japan.

Concerts are usually performed once in 1～2 years, conducted by Masahiko Kitamura, who is an experienced instructor of AULOS and a highly trusted member of the Tokyo Recorder Orchestra and Super Recorder Quartet.
